Should I hire an Attny for first time DUI?

Nephew 21 recently stopped for burned out license plate light and given breathlyzer. Reading was .09 and limit is .08 in IL.

Kid is still a college student living at home and commuting to local school. How will attny change the outcome of this trial?

Is DL suspension with limited hours to attend school and work an option in IL?

He is likely eligible for driving relief to attend school and work, but there are secial requirements that must be met for that to happen. It is an involved process that is not usually successfully navigated without an attorney.
