Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

If I'm 16 and want to move out of my moms house to a family friends house, can I legally do that without permission of my mother? I would like to move out because the town I live in is full of bad things.

no - you are a minor. Unless and until you are 18 or are declared an emancipated minor, you are subject to her control.
