Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Divorce without spouse signature

My wife and I have been seperated for over two years. She lives in North Carolina and I live in Illinois. We have 1 child but at this point no one has legal custody. She will not give me an address to send any paperwork to and whenever she calls it is from private number. I want to get the divorce settled but am at an impasse. What are my options at this point?

Re: Divorce without spouse signature

I have dealt with many such cases where there is an obstinate spouse. Notice by publication will work. It takes a little more effort, and the divorce cannot resolve issues regarding the child, but you can get your divorce in about 45 days. If you would like to discuss your case with me, contact our firm, we do these type of cases on a flat fee basis and you only have to appear in court one time.
