Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Illinois Writ of Bodilt Attachment Power

I failed to appear in Illinois 18th Circuit domestic court while living in Nebraska. The Judge issued a Writ Of Bodily Attachment. Is law enforcement empowered to arrest me and extradite on this civil matter or is the power limited to a range around the courthouse as I've heard?

Do you really think that an order to "attach the body" , i.e arrest you, only extends around the courthouse area? Of course you can be arrested. You need to show up for court.
