leaving state with kids

i just found out my ex moved out of state with my 2 kids. i had heard along time ago when parents are split up neither of the parents can take kids across state lines without other parents permission. well i never gave her permission to leave with the kids. what can i do?

She is not allowed to move out of the state like that, but no one will force her back unless you Petition the court for help. Having been involved in several of these recently, it is important to to file the appropriate paperwork with the court asking for the person to be ordered back. It is important to know when she moved. If it was a long time ago and you did not fight it, it could be too late.
