Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My son's father is a professional basketball player overseas and currently is not paying child support. I tried going through my states attorney's office to have him served when his is in the country, but all attempts have failed. What can I do to have him pay child support?

Transfer your IV-D order to a judicial petition, get a special process server, next time he's in country the SPS will have him served. If the foreign country is a member of the compact, they will be able to make sure his wages are properly garnished. Talk to an attorney in your area for specifics.
