Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

I am in the middle of a lawsuit against a former employee, the Human Rights Department of Illinois is handling it. My landlord wants to know the intimate details of the lawsuit which I told her was none of her business. She asked me to be collateral for a loan she needs and she told me that her attorney told her all she had to do was get a letter signed by me stating how much my settlement is going to be so she can use it as a promissary note (collateral), I told her no I would not do that or give her any information on the lawsuit and she again informed me that her attorney told her that if I do not give her the information by Tuesday that her attorney could get all the information because its public knowledge. I need to know if this is true and how to protect myself against my crooked landlord not finding out any of my personal information regarding this. Thank You
