Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

Motion counter only

Hi

I have a case in chancery court in cook county. According to the case file information online, the other party has filed the following:

MOTION SCHEDULED (MOTION COUNTER ONLY)

Could somebody tell me what does this mean?

Is it a motion to counterclaim? what is it?

Re: Motion counter only

It means that the other side has filed a Motion. They should send you a copy of the motion. Until you see the motion there is no way to know what is it about.

I hope this helps,
