Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois

Can my mom renew her greencard after 25 years of not renewing it abroad?

My mother lived in the US from 1970-1977. She got a greencard. She left the US in 1977 and since then she did not renew her greencard. Can she renew it now? Or I have to apply for her for a an immigrant visa based on me (US children)?

You will need to apply for a new one. She's been outside the country for too long. Give me a call and I can get you started.
