If your parents are citizens and you are a single child over the age of 21 years old, you would fall under the 1st family-based preference category. This category is currently taking 5 years for an immigrant visa to become available. Please feel free to contact me to discuss this matter further.

If you are single and your parents are citizens, they can sponsor you. You can also adjust status in the U.S. once your visa dates become current. Feel free to contact my offices at 408-245-2416 or [email protected].
