Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Illinois

for-profit internet advertising

a few business owners in Chicago are putting together a local, for-profit internet advertising website. We want to include sports scores(espn)/weather info(accu-weather)/stock updates/etc. Do we need permission from the above entities to display their content? If so, what type of agreements are necessary and how do we go about securing them?

Thank you.

These rights are obtained through copyright licensing agreements. You need to contact Walt Disney, the owner of ESPN to see what their terms and conditions may be. Contact an attorney in you jurisdiction to assist you, should you decide to pursue it.
