6 Month lease

we signed 6 month lease ..our landlord told us ahead of time that he had no itentions of selling the house we rented in winter he told us last month he was selling and have till june 30th to be out when it expires we have paid rent on time and now are in a bind if we move we will need money our deposit..and we will not get that till we are out,so do we have to pay this months junes rent . we found a new house but it wont be empty till july 10th . how long will this process take to makes us move out . the landlords was dishonest .I told my husband we have to pay it he is just upset about moving again and being lied too . We are good people and have not damaged the house . I told my Husband He could have us out of here in 2 weeks time if the rent is not paid up. can you please clarify this for him..thank you!

The landlord would have to initiate eviction proceedings against you, which takes longer than 2 weeks. However, he could sue you to collect the remaining rent due to him, should he so choose.
