Go down to the Will Co. recorder of deeds and try either pulling the plat for the property or running a search on the address. Somewhere in there is an address for the building owner. If you are still unable to find the landlord, you can request that the court appoint a special process server. Special process servers are often skilled in the art of serving people that are difficult to serve. They can very likely find an address for you, although I'd imagine they'd start with the same recorder of deeds search I advised you to do above. If you still can't serve the landlord after getting a special process server, you will have to get an alias summons issued. However, I suspect that once you track down the address, you will not have a problem getting normal sheriff service.
