my lanlord locked me out illegally

my lanlord changed my locks to my apartment because i did not pay 1 month rent. since he did not go throgh the cort system, what are the laws & codes of u.s.a , illinois, & dupage county that he has violated ? and how can i enforce this law against him. since i have no money for attorney, what are the forms i'll need to file ? can i get him arrested for tresspassing, privacy violation & for locking me out unlawfully ? how can i get him arrrested & by whom ? he still has my belongings. he agrred he moved all of it to the kitchen floor ? can i sue him for $10,000.00 [email protected]

You can and do have causes of action against your former landlord, including getting your belongings back. As for the amount of damages, remember that you must prove damages in court. Go to your local court and you should be able to get help filing the initial complaint.
