Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

Is a rental contract still binding if the landlord never provided a corrected copy (multiple mistakes) of the lease to the renter but the renter signed the original lease and added remarks (with date & initial) regarding the mistakes?

Depends on several factors. If the LL gave you a lease to sign and you made changes and signed it and gave it back to the LL but never got back a copy accepting the changes, that's one thing, because you sent a counteroffer. But if you moved in without confirming the deal, that's another. So more info is needed.
