Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

My room mate has been doing illegal drugs in the apartment. I've talked to her several times about it and finally contacted the landlords. She also has multiple lease violations with noise and accepting pets. My landlords have asked her to leave or otherwise they would give her a 10 day evict notice. She has since contacted a lawyer and denies all drug allegations. I witnessed her drug use several times and the landlord has smelled drugs coming from our apartment while I was not at home. Will my testimony be sufficient if this goes to court? Can she be evicted based on the lease violations? Her behavior is erratic and I no longer feel safe in the apartment and am staying with friends.

Yes she can and you'll have to testify. And you're lucky because if you signed the lease too, you're just as liable and can be evicted, so if I were you I'd make sure the landlord will allow you to stay if you help get her evicted.
