Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in Illinois

Solicitation of Clients

Dear Sir or Madam,

We were recently asked to supply names of all recent customers who filed Attorney General or BBB complaints against our business at the request of the attorney filing suit against us, presumably to substantiate his client's case. Today we just found out that a firm affiliated with this same attorney is representing one of these listed customers in an attempt to re-open a previously dismissed case against us. Is this considered solicitation, and is it legal?
