Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Illinois

unethical doctor practices

i went to an oncologist 2yrs ago to get a 2nd opinion. this dr. proceeded to diagnose me without realizing he has none of my tests results or info from my 2 surgury's. he was so embarassed he quickly called the hospital to have my info faxed over. i no longer wanted his opinion, and walked out. since then he has sent me 6 letters and phone calls asking me to come in for follow blood tests, one certified letter this week. why is this dr. stalking me when i was never a patient? is this normal for a dr. to do this to someone over a two yr. period of time? it was bad enough he tried to diagnose me with no info in his folder when i made the appt.2months in advance. he said i needed chemo before he ever saw anything about my case, then assumed i was on public aid, and was disappointed when i told him i was not. this is why i walked out and ended the consult. can i do anything about this man stalking me and hounding me, it was a very bad exsperience and i want to forget about it, but he just wont give up. now he's sending certified letters. what can i do to stop this??

Re: unethical doctor practices

Send him a certified mail telling him you do not want to hear from him again and that he should stop sending you unsolicited mail.
