Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

Injury

I was at a local bar and a heated discussion went on between myself and another customer. While outside smoking on of the bar security people was in front of me and while I was looking at the security gaurd I was sucker punched twice bythe above customer. I was knocked unconsious and suffered three areas broken in my Jaw. The bar did not call 911 while I was unconsious nor did they call the police . We where told by them that it was up to us to do that. Do I have any case I was out of work for three weeks and have not been able to eat solid food for the last month and am incurring medical bills due to this

Re: Injury

Yes you do.

You have two claims you can make--one against the bar owner and/or the property owner where the bar is located and the other against the person who hit you. So long as you have not provoked the attack, you have a strong case.

I have handled cases such as this on many occasions with good results. Contact me if you have any more questions.
