Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois
I was involved in a car accident where I was waiting at a light then after it turned green drove thru the intersection where a driver pulling out of a restaurant parking lot pulled oy=ut in front of me. We hit each other me passenger front bumper him driver side front door. No police report or tickets wher made of issued. That night he admited guilt then days later a witness appeared that was not there for the 45 minutes we waited for the police to show. Witness claimed I went thru the red light which I didnt but even so doesnt he have to yield to all traffic on the street pryor to pulling off a private parking lot to go on the street?
