Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

Personal Injury by a Hair Stylist

A hair stylist who does braid extensions styled my 12 year old daughters hair. I took the braids down three weeks later because she lost some extensions and found a very large sore in the center of her head. I washed her hair and discovered a hole in her scalp that looks infected. I am taking her to emergency. I would like to know if I can take legal action against the stylist and saloon?

Re: Personal Injury by a Hair Stylist

It all depends whether you can show that the injury was caused by anything that the stylist may have done. Assuming that can be done, then the answer to your question is yes. You can bring a claim both against the stylist and the hair salon (depending on the arrangement the stylist has with the salon). If you need more information call me (312)372-4252.
