Rearend

would i have a case i got rearend on sept 18 2008 i braked when the guy in front of me sudeny hit there brakes and i hit mine to void hitting the car in front of me the guy behind me rearend me and got too tickets following to close for condions failure to reduce speed to avoid a accident and his insurance only contacted me one time

You do have a cause of action for property damage. Sudden stop is a defense to rear-end collision but one that will be overcome if you can show that your break lights were in good working condition and that you have sufficient signal to other vehicles behind you of your intention to stop.

You may also have a cause of action for bodily injury if you were injured. if not, then you do not have such a cause of action.
