Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
My 91 year old father wants to sell house in New Delhi. Since he is too old, he wants to give me (his Son) power of attorney to carry out the transaction. If I get POA in USA (Illinois), will that be good in India?
Are there any additional requirements?

You would need to check with an attorney in India to see what would be acceptable there.

I agree with Mr. Moens except there should be attorneys here who know India law. Check with the consulate they may have some resources.
