Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

How do I auction my home

Mine is not a problem but a legal question. Is it legal and if so what are the specifics to sell my home in an auction or raffle?

Thank you

It is legal. Speak to the auction house for particulars. Each one has different terms.

Re: How do I auction my home

Actually, to auction your home to the highest bidder is quite legal -- happens all the time. But, your question also raised the possibility of a raffle. If, by that, you envision having persons purchase tickets for a certain amount with the winner selected by random, for example, that may well fall within the perimeters of unlawful gambling.
