Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Closing on Home

My motherin law signed the closing papers on her new mobile home on Friday aug 15th. The sellers are moving out Saturday .They will not turn the keys over to my mother in law until they recieve there check from my mother in law 's finacining company. My mother in law has paid all monies she was required to. The seller's realator states that because they haven't recieved their check from the finance company the closing hasn't taken place . Is this true? Do the sellers have a right to with hold the keys?
