First the landlord has to give you written notice that you are in default. If you are renting a house with a fenced yard and you are the only tenant the landlord may be unreasonable. If you are in an apartment building with a yard you share with anyone else (like the landlord?), you must keep it free and clear of your own property and the landlord may be completely reasonable. So you need to be clear on what the situation is so one of us can help you.
