Me and my husband recently flipped a house, the buyer had a home inspection done, there was a couple of things that where brought up and we had them fixed. The loan closed and then a couple of weeks later we recieved a letter from the city saying that the plumbing was not in compliance with city code. It just so happens that the lady that bought the property works for the city. Are we obligated by law to fix this?

You should talk with the attorney who handled your closing. He or she is in the best position to guide you.
