Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

I was involved in an auto accident and the insurance company refuses to acknowledge any liability for the claim until their client contacts them. He pled guilty in court to ticket but they said without statement they won't do anything. He hasn't contacted them in a month. What is my next step

I can only assume (1) you did not receive any physical injury; (2) that you had a policy of automobile insurance; (3) that you reported the incident to your own carrier. Deal with your own insurance company; they will eventually sue the other guy (or gal).
