Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

How can I get mortgage papers for a property in Florida notarized in the state of Illinois, I was told my the notary at my credit union they are no longer allowed to do that.

It should not matter where the property is located. I am guessing that your credit union has some sort of policy that they will not notarize such documents. You will just need to find another notary.
