Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois
Can my neighbor landscape and put his mailbox on my side of the property line in an area that our Village says they own but I think is a public right of way?

Not sure I understand the facts here, but in any event, your neighbor cannot put his mailbox and landscaping on your property, nor can he put them on a right of way. Basically, he is limited to putting them on his own property.

Have you called the post office? This may be a postal requirement for your delivery area.
