Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Hi I have recently come upon this site and I wanted to ask two very important questions. One is how can you sue somebody in Cicero, IL? The other question is how can you pay for lawyers? Because I don't know anything about this situation and in short this girl made me homeless for over no apparent reason, turns out I shouldn't have trusted her too much and in the past I have been too trusting. She threw out over $2000 dollars worth of stuff, and now I got nothing on me except one case of luggage. Normally I wouldn't take this action but something needs to be done so she doesn't do this to anyone else. I need help, I tried going on the internet to find the main court website for Cicero, IL but I haven't found anything only other people's cases come up whenever I do research. Can someone point me in the right direction? Please...

It does not appear there is a courthouse in Cicero. Cicero is in Cook County, so you would need to file your lawsuit in the Cook County circuit court. As far as paying for your attorney, that would depend on the individual attorney--some take credit cards, some do not, most would want payment in advance. This does not appear to be a real estate/real property question. You might want to repost.
