Suspended License

I received two tickets from the same officer 3 days before my 21st birthday. I went to court and paid the fines, but I received a letter stating that my license is suspended--apparently for getting 2 tickets in less than 24 months while under 21. Is there a way to retroactively take traffic school or get court supervision? I am unable to be without a license for 3 months due to the nature of my occupation.

Yes, it is possible to motion those matters into court and ask to have the convictions vacated, requesting supervision. It will be up to the judge whether to grant the motion, but frequently these motions are successful. If you wish to talk about the matter feel free to contact us.

Why didn't you hire an attorney to advise you and represent you on the tickets in the first place? You would probably not have this problem right now, and it would have saved you quite a lot of money in attorney's fees, court costs and fines. Still, to answer your question, I have filed Motions to Set Aside Pleas of Guilty or Motions to Vacate convictions with good results in several different courts. Everything will depend upon where the convictions were entered, the position of the state's attorney, and how the Judge views these types of Motions.
