Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois

Wrongfully chared with reckless driving

I was arrested for reckless driving because a girl who did not like me called. She made a false police report against me and started calling me before the police even arrested me. The police did not have any strong evidents except for this girl and her crack addicted mom. They also said I came home about the time. Is this case strong? How should I go about defending myself?

Re: Wrongfully chared with reckless driving

When you ask how you can defend yourself, my answer is to get an experienced criminal defense lawyer. Abraham Lincoln once said "He who has himself for a lawyer has a fool for a client." The prosecutor is a lawyer, and will be representing the state. Do you think you can learn enough from this email message to overcome his knowledge and experience? Do yourself a favor and get a lawyer.
