Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

automibile loan of estate in probate

My husband purchased a new vehicle in his name only and died unexpectedly prior to payments beginning. Dealership was notified as was lienholder. Six months later lienholder finally has notated estate on billing but has not contacted me or filed claim with probate. Claim day is less than two months away. Payments have been made from estate funds. Where does this leave me? Attorney has not been specific on this item.
