Us Citizen marrying a J1 visa holder.

Hi

I am also a US citizen, living in the US and my girlfreind is coming from romania with a J1 visa for the summer. We plan to get married but we marry this summer , we decided that she should finish her studies in romania and then come back again , is that possible?
