Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

Codicil

My grandmother wrote a will and included listing ahouse in which she shared joint tenency with my mother. Years later she purchased a home for me, owned by the trust. She then added a codicil to her wll in which she listed my mother and my homes to both be held under the trust. By doing so the taxes and insurance would be paid. My question is should my mother be able to own her home (because of the will) and get the added benefits of the codicil without handing the deed back to the trust?

Re: Codicil

Your question is a bit confusing as you start out talking about a will and then you talk about a trust. What kind of trust is it? Please clarify so I can answer your question for you.
