Custody of children if both parents die.

What do I need to do to ensure my children are cared for by the people we select should we die?

Designate a guardian (and successor guardians) in your will and your spouse's will. Courts are not absolutely bound by these designations, but they carry great weight and are generally only overriden if naming the person designated is clearly not in the child's best interests.
