Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

I am pro se in a probate case. My wife does research, filing and typing my pleadings, prelimenaries, typing notes, etc. She is on my witness list with regards to this case. Was it proper for the opposing attorney to ask my wife questions during her discovery deposition, calling for ALL knowledge of certain allegations of my pleadings. All including information of whom she has spoken with doing prelimaries and other research?

The short answer is "yes." They are entitled to know who she has spoken to so that they can interview them and find out if your wife made statements that can help their case.
