You may be entitled to a settlement based on the degree of disability you suffered. Feel free to contact my office if you would like to discuss this.

You are entitled to a settlement. The amount will depend on a factor based on your wages, the medical bills, the nature and extent of your injuries and you or your attorney's ability to negotiate a higher degree of total temporary disability. If you are on your own, count on it that the percentage will be very low--you simply stand no chance of any such discussion against a seasoned insurance adjuster.

The best advice anyone can give you is to get yourself an attorney. The fees you will pay your lawyer are worth it--because otherwise you will be so short changed that is not even funny - and I see it everyday: persons who want to save a penny end up losing 10 bucks!

I hope this helps and the best of luck.

They aren't required to settle your case, but if you formally file your case with the State via an attorney they will have to or we can get a Judge to order a settlement and keep your medical rights open as relates to this injury which might be a good idea given how severe your injury is. Nothing is more important than your health of course.

If you would like our help let me know. We are lawyers that run a state wide network for work injuries. Call us at (800) 517-1614 any time.
