Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois

brief memorandum of law

I got hurt on the job at the police station and had to go on disability pension. I applied for 65% pension and the pension board gave me 50% because they say it was not ''in the line of duty'' (I slipped and fell locking the train station I was ordered to lock.)I have been handling the court process on my own thus far and I am stuck on this process of writting a brief memorandum of the law that states my case. What exactly would that be?

I would recommend that you consult with an attorney, either my office or someone else who handles this type of work. Writing a brief is something an attorney can do for you. If interested, please call me at 312-357-1431.

You should have had a lawyer and not have tried to present your own case. If you hope to accomplish anything, you definitely need a lawyer now.
