You can change your attorney at any time during a case. However, you must be careful, further along a case is, it is less recommended to change your attorney since each attorney works differently and once a lot of work has been done, if the new attorney does not like the way things have been done, he may be stuck with the work already done. Further, the attorney who has done all the work for sometime, is more familiar with the details of the case whereas the new attorney may not be able to familiarize himself to that extent.

The short answer to your question is: yes. The long answer is: Yes...but is it advisable?

If you have issues with your attorney, you should make an appointment and go see him and see whether you can resolve whatever issues you have with him. A lot of times, clients are unhappy because the case is not moving as fast as they would like to--a lot of times, the attorney cannot do much about that.. So if you are unhappy and have not discussed it with your attorney already, then you would do yourself a disservice if you do not find out whether there may be a resolution to your issues with the attorney.

I hope this helps- If you have any more questions you may contact me directly.
