forged document submission to court by a government official

Sir, while disposing a representation on the directives of CAT, The officials have forged the document , that too on a public holiday and sub mitted to court. what will be the legal consequence

if the official had done it in the official capacity he can be punished - u/S.466 & 469 and also for cheating u/s 420 - a criminal complaint can be preferred - records may be produced in the currect court proceedings to that effect - and there is always an appellate authority to handle it in the right way! You have to prove: what document is forged how it is forged, , and when it is forged and how it has prejudiced your interest. Collect all available evidence, contact your lawyer, and produce them before the CAT and file a contempt petition.Committing forgery and misleading a court is certainly a serious matter.

lot of remedies against them.

one is that tell the court that the document is forged one as it was a holiday. confirm before that there was holiday in the office that day
