I am Service person in bhopal,I made a agreement with a farmer for purchase of Agriculture land situated in village near sagar,I given him Rs 500000.00 as token amount,At the time of registry he will diny to sale the land and after so many followup he refuse to give my token money back,Now he given me a blank post dated cheque with sign.

Now my question is that if we wait upto cheque date and he will stop the payment at that time,what is the procedure to solve the issue.

Intentional stop payment of cheque will be treated as cheque bounce as per the NI act and you need to follow the procedure to get him caught
