Legal Question in Banking Law in India

There is a case going on in the co-operative court Mumbai, between me & my sister regarding our mother's self-acquired flat property. My mother made a registered Will bequeathing her right, title & interest in her self-acquired flat and all her belongings and money to me only. My sister is challenging the Will. My mother also had bank accounts in various banks with only me as a joint owner (either or survivor). She had locker also with me as a joint owner.

My question is that : Can my sister freeze the bank accounts & locker which stands in my name and my Late mother's name on any grounds with a court order ?? She wants to do anything to harass me.

Thank you.

Your sister can obtain a temporary injunction against you, which however can be got vacated by you through a Good lawyer. Have the will in your favour probated by Bombay High court and have all the properties of your mother including bank accounts transferred to your name. Take the assistance of a good lawyer in Mumbai.

generally it is not so easy to take court order and freeze bank a/c specially when there is a registered will of your mother in your favour.
