Check Bounce-Address Change

Hi,

I gave hand loan my frined.He is sued to stay in his own house.Now he shifted to somewhere else which I don't know.He gave the blank check.When I had put the check in the bank,it bounced.How can I send a notice to me?Because I don't know his address.

Ramesh, try to find out the address of your friend through your common friends or relatives. You can do this till the validity of the cheque is there. If you still cannot find the address in that case you can sent the notice to the last known address.

Sir,

In case you have the possesion of cheque and you dont know the new address of this person then you will need to send across the notice on the last known address.

There is a good scope of recover from him but you will need to be very careful with what steps you r going to take. It would be advice to consult in person or over the voice channel.

you may send the notice at his last known address or the address in the Bank records.
