cheque bouncing case

my blank cheque signed with written not over Rs.15000/- was forged to Rs.4,50,000/- by making 1 to 4 adding one zero.also complainant failed to prove legal liability there are various addition, ommission and change of stand , what shud i do now? cheque was returned as account closed on feb 04 n cheque was deposited in dec. 04

contend that the cheque is forgery. Have it submitted to the forensic department for opinion. Defend the case through your lawyer. No purpose served in throwing the matter in this forum.

When you issue the cheq is not mentioned.

Moreover if there are modification in the cheque by the complainant then he wil lose the case so dont worry.

file a criminal complaint case against the complainant for forgery u/s 420/468/471 i.p.c. and u/s 340 cr.p.c. for filing wrong affidavit before the concerned magistrate.

You should lodge a complaint of forgery and cheating against the payee of the cheque. your complaint will be clubbed with his complaint, if he choose to file one. otherwise you may pursue your complaint independently. file an FIR immediately, if he has not filed a complaint or not started 138 proceedings; if you have received a notice, send him a reply disclosing your defence.
