DD Bounce

The DD bounced back to me, stating 'reported lost, refer to the drawee'. It got expired. Please help me - can we revalidate and present for honouring?

How can anyone revalidate a DD given by others.You have to request the party who gave you DD to get it revalidated.

cheque issuer can revalidate it only. There are other ways to get the money.

The Drawee in the case of the cheque is the Bank on which it is drawn. you have to approach the person who sent you the draft to get it validated or get another draft and if he does not co-operate and he has an underlying liability in sending you the draft, you can sue him in case he does not get a new draft or get the draft revalidated by the bank which has issued the same.

Nope. Only drawee bank can revalidate.
