Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Dear Sir,
One of my friend is accused under section 138/ipc.
Complainer produces document i.e. Affidevit & cheque .
Sir, i want informed you that my friend not signed on that affidevit & even cheque also not belonging to his account & signature is totally different.
Please advice what to do with this.

is it in court. Then engage a good lawyer, defend it and ask for the affidavit and cheque to be examined by the State Police Forensic hand writing finger print bureau.
If what you have stated is true then relax your friend will be absolved/acquited.
How do you know it is not your friend's signature. He can defend the same if he has not done anything wrong. Ask him to engage a lawyer and defend himself. In this forum many are asking queries stating that they are asking it for someone else. You can ask queries without fear. Don't involve your friend's name unnecessarily otherwise let him ask the query. We will give him the advice.
