succession certificate

My husband has a HUF account in PNB and he passed away before 6 months what should i have to do to get the money from that account.

You may need to contact the bank concerned with an original copy of death certificate of your husband and complete their formalities.

Good Afternoon!

You have to obtain a Death Certificate. Approach to the City Survey Office/Collectorate Office and enter your name into revenue records.

There after you may approach the Bank and furnish the Succesion Certificate with Death Certificate as to access the account.

consult the Bank for procedure of including the present Kartha. If there is no nomination, you have to go by the Bank procedure.

You may apply for LETTER OF ADMINISTRATION and if there is WILL then you have to go for PROBATE.
