Legal Question in Business Law in India

Hi,

I am creating a personal website to showcase and sell my photos globally and also in india(as prints). I will recieve the money (in USD) through paypal.

Do I need to do any company registration or are there any legal formalities/clearances I need to do apart from declaring and paying my taxes from this income.

Regards,

S Chadhdha

you would simply need the VAT for the sale of your products online. you need to pay the government taxes the same way had u been selling the products in person.

There is Double taxation treaty with USA and many more countries with India in which you have to declare whether you would be paying taxes in India or USA because you would be generating income in this country. And secondly your work which you are intending to start has to be legal and according indian laws. I have fail to understand that you would be selling your photo ,what kind of photos you are intending to sell? can you explain a bit about your work.

Yes, Both Income tax and VAT issues are involved in the said transaction. For more implications your whole business module have to be considered.
